About Heartland to Holyland
Heartland to Holyland exists to strengthen long-term collaboration between Indiana and Israel by creating trusted environments where leaders meet, relationships grow, and opportunities become enduring partnerships.
Why Heartland to Holyland exists
Heartland to Holyland connects Indiana's reliability, leadership, and institutional capacity with Israel's innovation, resilience, and global perspective.
What began through individual relationships has evolved into a managed corridor for executive access, strategic exchange, cross-border opportunity development, and year-round follow-through. Heartland to Holyland works across business, technology, healthcare, government, universities, and civic leadership.
The corridor, over time

An immersive program connected Indiana leaders with Israeli experience in crisis coordination, preparedness, recovery, and resilience.
The TechIndiana Israel delegation and executive roundtables expanded sector relationships across technology, healthcare, infrastructure, and public leadership.
The Continuity Office and HELM give organizations a year-round way to preserve context, steward opportunities, and sustain momentum.

Founder
Laura Hatton founded Heartland to Holyland to professionalize and expand trusted collaboration between Indiana and Israel.
Her work brings together communication, relationship development, executive engagement, and disciplined follow-through. Through HH, she helps leaders and institutions enter the corridor with context, align around shared objectives, and sustain relationships beyond a single meeting or journey.
At the center of the model is a simple conviction: trust is built through consistent human engagement, and its value compounds when relationships, decisions, and opportunities are preserved.
