In 2024, Heartland to Holyland™ convened a Leadership Delegation to Israel, uniting U.S. civic and public leaders for an in-depth examination of governance, innovation, and crisis management. The program offered firsthand insight into Israel’s leadership culture and the strategies shaping its resilience and regional cooperation.

Through direct engagement and dialogue, delegates gained a deeper understanding of how leadership and innovation intersect in times of challenge and renewal. The experience reinforced Heartland to Holyland’s mission to foster shared learning between American and Israeli communities.

The Delegation was designed to strengthen cross-cultural leadership insight through firsthand experience and professional exchange.

Tel Aviv: Innovation in Action

Delegates attended Cybertech Tel Aviv, one of the world’s leading technology and security conferences, engaging with innovators driving Israel’s cyber and defense ecosystem.

EIS Council Roundtable: Crisis Management & Preparedness

Participated in a global policy discussion on crisis management and multi-sector resilience, exchanging frameworks for emergency planning and response.

Northern Border Tour: Leadership at the Frontlines

Field briefings at the borders of Lebanon, Syria, and Jordan, gaining perspective on regional security, humanitarian coordination, and the balance between vigilance and coexistence.

Peace Island and Gaza Perimeter: Realities of Resilience

On-the-ground insights into the realities of coexistence and regional security.

Sderot: Lessons in Recovery and Response

Visited the police station site for a firsthand briefing on the October 7th attack, understanding both the challenges of recovery and the human stories behind resilience.
